Why we built this#
Logier is a utility built for a specific job: making sense of messy log files. We believe in simple software that you own, but asking for an upfront purchase before you can even drag in your first log file felt like too much friction.
You should know if a tool actually fits into your daily debugging workflow before you pay for it. A trial window was the obvious answer.
How it works#
We wanted the trial to be completely seamless. The system derives your trial window dynamically from the moment you sign up. Because this is validated based on your immutable account creation date, your trial status remains consistent and secure. You can reinstall the desktop app or wipe your local data, and it will still remember exactly where you left off.
We also rebuilt the application's onboarding gate. The interface now clearly guides you through starting a trial and lets you know when your time has lapsed.
